Jeremiah started running in 2015 with an initial goal of breaking 2 hours in a half marathon. The first attempt ended with a time of 2:00:04 which wasn't good enough. The following year he was able to reach his goal by running the same half marathon in 1:56:04. Since then he's gone on to break his goal of beating 1:30 with a 1:29:10 half in 2019. During various races he used the help of the pacer groups to attain his goals along the way. He wants to give back to the running community by helping others reach their goals now by pacing.

Mark is an avid lifelong runner, pacer, and cross country coach who has been pacing for more than a decade now. Mark's current racing schedule focuses around full marathons, though he has also completed around fifty halves, and countless 5K's, 10K's, and odd-distance races. Mark loves racing and pacing equally, and gets recharged by supporting runners by helping them reach their goals as a pacer. Presently, Mark is completing full marathons in all fifty states, and in the fall of 2023 he set a new PR in two consecutive races. He's currently working on a blog post about how to PR in a marathon in which he'll share his experiences and training techniques, which will appear at markgudgel.com. When not running, Mark loves to travel and write. His most recent book focuses on the Napa Valley. The one prior, Think Higher Feel Deeper, is about teaching about the Holocaust, and he is currently working on a second book about the Napa Valley and completing a study on Holocaust education in the United States. In 2022, Mark ran the #KandaharMarathon to support Afghan refugees. His latest aspirations are to begin guiding runners for Achilles International, and to coach in the Special Olympics. Victor's dad brought home Springsteen's "Born to Run" album and that inspired him to run. That was 1975 and he's been running since. Running was also a way for a teenager to connect with his dad. Victor's dad ran 50 states before it was cool. It's not on Victor's radar to run 50 states, but what gets him to lace up his shoes is helping others achieve their running goals. That's his focus. He loves to pace and makes the run about the runners. Although he's lousy at math, he can figure out pace times and remembers the advise the great Billy Rodgers gave him, "Run steady for your runners!"

A runner his entire life, Joe has run every distance from the 5k to a 100 miler. His most raced distances are the half and full marathons. Joe also loves climbing 14ers, cycling, and has completed several triathlons. Joe is a Boston Marathoner several times over, and his most recent running accomplishment is completing Rim to Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon. Joe loves working with runners and is currently a coach for the Fleet Feet Omaha stores' training groups. Meredith is from Sheboygan, WI which is located along Lake Michigan (an hour south of Green Bay, WI). Meredith started running in college and participating in local races for fun. After moving to the US and continuing to play with the addition of coaching soccer as well, he added running to his routine. Denisse is a 40 year old woman, she is married to her husband Tony and together they have two children; Johann and Jayla. Denisse was raised in a family of runners, Denisse Ruiz developed a profound appreciation for movement and running as essential elements of life. Having learned to cherish the act of running and its positive impact, Denisse holds the belief that running is a deeply personal experience. In her perspective, comparing oneself to other runners is unwarranted. She emphasizes that some days may be faster or involve longer distances, while others may simply be about enjoying a leisurely walk. Denisse sees the beauty in the diversity of movement. Even though Denisse was exposed to running from a very young age, it wasn't until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic that she found herself conquering the distance and running her first half, then her first full, and after that, her first 50k. Despite a couple of health issues that have hindered her ability to run as much as she wishes, Denisse has continued her running journey. She has expressed that she cannot stay away from running for a long period because it brings her a sense of sadness. For the race her main goal is to help other people get to the finish line, doing the best for them to get there by keeping them motivated and engaged she would like to play some music to make things fun and easier.

Words to describe ultrarunners include masochistic, sadistic, obsessive compulsive, freak, and superhuman. Tyler describes himself as an ordinary ultrarunner. His family and friends see him as just plain crazy. They are perplexed by his desire to voluntarily subject his mind and body to the physical and mental challenges of 50-mile, 100-mile, 100k, and 24-hour ultra events. Deanne started running at 5 years old. After several knee surgeries, by the age of 14 she was told she could not run anymore. Throughout the years she only ran sparingly. At the age of 40, she decided to train for a half marathon to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. The rest is history. Now, she has 40+ marathons and over 100 half marathons under her belt. Deanne has ran marathons in 20 states with a goal of completing the rest of the 50 states. Aside from that she enjoys pacing people in halves and full marathons. In 2003 Aimee set her New Year's resolution to run a full marathon and signed up for the Chicago Marathon. After the unbelieve feeling of not only running the race but crossing the finish line she was hooked for life. Over the years she has ran over 60 half marathons, 14 full marathons, and numerous other races. It was not until 2018 that she became interested in pacing and has paced a full and half marathon. Aimee has her heart set on qualifying for Boston in 2019 and is currently working hard to make it happen. Aimee enjoys the company of other runners and hearing what inspires them to run. Niki is an enthusiastic and fun-loving runner who loves encouraging runners of all speeds. She started running marathons and half marathons in 2009. She uses run walk ratios of :60/:30 for marathons and :90/:30 for half marathons. Her mottos are…”we WILL get there”, “the more we smile, the less it hurts”, and “nobody cries until the finish line”. Her comfort race times are 2:20-2:45 half marathon and 5:30-6:00 marathon.
